Rose wasn't, by nature, exceptionally patient. Sure, she could tolerate people, not snap or lose her temper, it wasn't people she was impatient with. It was waiting. Given the circumstances, she was going to have to get used to waiting.

He'd jumped. Just like that, he'd taken the horse (that damn, stupid horse, she didn't even like horses) and jumped through the mirror and out of her life. Reinette was beautiful. She was graceful, intelligent, born in wealth. She was everything Rose wasn't- well, except blonde. They were both blonde. A tiny voice in her head argued that Reinette was a natural blonde, but Rose quickly squashed that thought. Reinette de Pompadour. The queen of the world. The most intelligent, beautiful, amazing woman in history.

Jul. 19th, 2011 07:55 pm"Tyler," She barked out in greeting. It saved time, even if it was less personal. Mickey's voice shot back to her so loudly, she had to tug the phone away. "Rose, it's headed your way, southbound behind Tesco's, eta three minutes."
"Got it. Set to stun and capture." She snapped the phone shut and broke out in a jog. This weevil was one helluva slippery one. So far, it had eaten six dock-men and a rooster. Frankly, she was the most upset about the rooster, but semantics shmemantics. She rounded a corner and stopped on her toes. There it was, standing at the end, ugly as ever, teeth bared.
She pulled out the tazer and eased forward, pointing it at the Weevil, who glared at her. "Easy now. We can do this the easy way, or the-"
It charged at her, sending the gun flying across the ground.
"Oh, bugger."
She ran.
